GARDNER- Nanette Marie (Ferreira) Helmboldt, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. She was 66 years old.
She was the loving wife of the late James E. Helmboldt.
Nanette was born in Boston on February 4, 1952 a daughter of the late Alfred A. Ferreira and Doris I. (Treat) Ferriera.
Nanette was very proud of her four children, found strength in her spirituality, and was grateful for her more than 25 years of sobriety. She was an avid reader, and also loved to predict the lottery numbers over Sweet Tarts, Milky Ways, or Chinese food. She loved movie musicals and Motown classics, and she was always inspired by thunderstorms, nature and the ever-changing shapes of clouds. Always the first to laugh at herself, Nanette was a jokester with an firery sense of humor and contagious laughter that followed her throughout life.
She leaves behind her loving children who will miss her dearly, Dennis J. King of Maui, HI., Brian R. King of Billerica, Drew J. King of New York, NY., and Andrea J. King of Gardner; her grandson, Aaron R. King; two brothers, Alfred Ferreira and Steven Ferreira; three sisters, Gail Miller-Hayes, Janet Perry and Lynn Duprey.
Besides her husband and parents, Nanette is predeceased by a sister Beverly Ferreira.
Family and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Saturday, February 17th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston.
