New Bedford – Alfred Domingos, age 93 of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Marcela (Batista) Domingos and the son of the late Mary (Silva) and Sam Domingos.
Alfred was born in Rochester, MA, was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine. He had also been employed as a laborer for various factories throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife, Marcela; children, Doreen Domingos and Nancy Sawaryn both of Florida, Gilbert Domingos of Massachusetts, Alfred Domingos, Jr. of New Bedford, Donald Domingos of Fairhaven and Michelle Arruda of Germany. Mr. Domingos was also survived by a niece Grace Biron and close friends Kenny Marlowe and his partner Ray.
Alfred’s services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Perry Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M. Visiting hours will be prior to his service from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
