Anestis, Irene C. (Kacamburas) formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully, February 12, 2018, surrounded by her Kentucky family. Beloved wife of the late John Emmanuel Anestis. Devoted mother of Emmanuel “Manny” Anestis and his wife Lisa of Lexington, KY, and Diane Caraviello and her husband Chris of Cape Neddick, ME. Loving Yiayia of Kalyn, Christian, Tiffany and Evan Anestis of Kentucky, Van Caraviello of Los Angeles, CA and the late Cameron Matthew Anestis. Loving Big Yiayia of Isabelle Anestis. Cherished sister of Katherine Dalakis of Burlington, Harold and Lorrie Kacamburas of Wilmington, John and Karen Kacamburas of Brewster, and Anne Jahares of Billerica. Sister-in-law of Georgia Contos of No. Andover, Angela Chingris of Billerica, and Fred and Janice Sophis of Arlington. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom she loved as her own. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Saturday, February 17th, at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service conducted in the Annunciation of The Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., WOBURN, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
