STRATFORD, CT – Everett Mello, age 94, passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Adeline (Pavao) Mello. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Pereira) Mello. Everett was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
Everett is survived by his son Everett Joseph Mello (wife Edwina) of Swansea; siblings Albert Mello and Betty Costa, both of Fall River; grandsons Branden Mello and Michael Mello (wife Jackie). He was predeceased by his sister Lithia Botelho.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph’s Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Friday from 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
