Stephen A. Governo, age 71, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2018. He was the husband of Lorna (Babbitt) Governo and son of the late George and Louise (Mello) Governo. Stephen was the owner and operator of Governo’s Fuel Oil for many years, was an animal lover, enjoyed woodworking, fishing working on his hobby farm and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Casey Governo (wife Chrystee), and Luke Governo, brothers; John and George Governo, grandsons; Samuel and Harrison Governo and several nieces and nephews.
His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. with a service to immediately follow. Internment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery
