LACONIA-----Stefania W. Caverly,89, of Taylor Community, died on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Mrs. Caverly was born August 4, 1928 in Chicopee, Mass., the daughter of Zachary and Helen (Skibel) Wasuta.
Mrs. Caverly resided in Massachusetts for many years before moving to Laconia in 1993. She had been employed at New England Telephone in Springfield, Mass. for thirty-six years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include several step-children, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caverly was predeceased by her husband, Gardner A. Caverly, in 1996, three brothers and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A private graveside service will be held.
