Dorothy Lee McCoy Goff, 91, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 12, 2018, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Goff at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dan Eidson will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 14, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born December 26, 1926 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mrs. Goff was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin McCoy and Elizabeth Ellen Dexter McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Foster Sebren Goff, Sr.; two brothers, Allen James McCoy and William H. McCoy; and a granddaughter, Alison Goff Passmore. Before retiring, she was the dietician at Golden Living Center, now Tifton Health and Rehab. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Goff is survived by four sons, Foster Goff, Jr. of Dudley, Coy Lee Goff of Pinehurst, Lindsay Lanier Goff of Covington and Thomas Marvin Goff of Navarre, Florida; two daughters, Doris Pace and Lorna Fritts, both of Tifton; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
