Colleen B. (Greene) Herrick 32, passed away early Thursday morning February 8, 2018, suddenly of natural causes. She was the beloved wife of Mitchell H. “Mitch” Herrick.
Born October 28, 1985 in Norwood, a cherished daughter of Patrick A. and Bridget (Kelly) Greene, she was a former longtime resident of Norwood, before moving to Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Norwood, and was a 2004 graduate of Norwood High School. Colleen continued her education at Bridgewater State University and received her bachelor’s degree in communications. She was working as an account manager for Deland, Gibson Insurance Company of Wellesley Hills.
Colleen was a hopeless romantic, and lover of all animals. She was fiercely competitive, especially when it came to board games and ugly Christmas sweater parties! She also had a special talent of communicating with everyone through movie quotes, a unique talent she developed with her brother. Colleen was a loving wife, a dedicated colleague, and loved her friends, family and fur babies dearly.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her siblings, Ann Marie Greene of Hyde Park, Patrick J. Greene of San Diego, CA and Michelle T. McLoughlin of Abington, a goddaughter, Ella McLoughlin, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and her circle of friends. She also leaves her 2 dogs, Mia and Chester.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Friday Feb. 16th at 11AM in St. Catherine of Siena Parish 547 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062. Her interment will be held privately.
Calling hours are Thurs. Feb. 15th, at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, from 4-8PM.
