Raymond Laverne Dorman, 75, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Regency Hospital in Macon. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Salem Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rickey Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born February 10, 1942 in Tift County, Mr. Dorman was the son of the late Harvey Edgar Dorman and Christine Cosper Dorman Collier. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Watts Dorman; one son, Randall L. Dorman; and one brother, Billy R. Collier. He was retired and served in the Georgia National Guard.
Mr. Dorman is survived by three brothers, Ray Dorman and Larry Collier, both of Tifton and Jerry Collier of Adel; and one sister, Sue Collier of Tifton.
