On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Constant Auguste, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away at the age of 98 years in Boston, Massachusetts. Born in Haiti on January 15, 1920, Constant will be lovingly remembered by his 8 children, Ernst, Jimmy, Jocelyn, Sultana Lafond, Frantz, Walson, Wilford, and Leslie. Constant will also be forever remembered by his 25 grandchildren, Roudy, Patricia, Constant, Nadege, Tardelli, Christina, Johnny, Samuel, Sarah, Islande, Peterlee, Benlove, Emmanuel, Jocelyn, Joanne, Jean Francois, Regine Lafond, Huggens Lafond, Gretchen Lafond, Raisha Lafond, Samantha, Shemela, Clifford, Ronaldo, Mina, and by his 15 great grandchildren, Roudy, Jr., Andrew Saint-Fleur, Bradley Saint-Fleur, Victoria Desrosiers, Josiah, Jamie, Andre Lafond, Vincent Lafond, Soley, Soriya, Desire, Kyelle Magloire, Kendrick Magloire, Kenny Louissaint, and Halixane. Constant was predeceased by his wife Olivia (nee Mathieu), and his son Gary.
A Funeral Service in memory of Constant, with viewing at 9:00 a.m., will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at Hyde Park SDA church, 6 Webster Street, Hyde Park, MA 02136, with Pastor Yves Francis officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens Cemetery, 670 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. A reception will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Sant Belvi, 6 Frontenac Street, Mattapan, MA 02126.
