Richard A. Leno, Sr., 72, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday February 6, 2018 in the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born in Boston, MA on March 27, 1945, a son of the late Henry and Mary (Mara) Leno. He had been a resident of Derry for the past 20 years, formerly living in E. Boston, MA. He loved his dog Nino and his cat Star.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marie (Amoroso) Leno of Derry; three sons, Arthur Leno and his wife Elena of Derry, Richard Leno, Jr. and his wife Dana of Salem, NH, and Allen Leno of Peabody, MA; one daughter, Joan Viscione of Tewksbury, MA; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
At the request of the family, services were held privately. The burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01710. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry assisted the family with arrangements.
