Obituary

Karen Sue Montmarquette, 73, died Thursday, February 1st, 2018.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Elmer Edwards and Ruth Lydia (Johnson) Normandin. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution organization. Karen was an avid reader and gardener, and she cherished her time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Jeff LeBlanc of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Missy Bournes of Danielson, Connecticut, Ruth Coffey of Dayville, Conneticut, Scott LeBlanc of Millville, Massachusetts, Heather Anderson of Greenville, RI and Thomas Carter of Oxnard, California, as well as her twenty-three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, her brothers, Zeke Normandin of Riverhead, New York and Jon Normandin of Burlington, Vermont, and her companion, Jim Johnson of Lancaster, PA and his daughter, Kimberly Walls of New Castle, Delaware. She is predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Normandin.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, February 9th at 7:30pm in the Anderson-Winfield Home, Greenville, RI. Burial will be private. Visitation Friday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
