Francis C. Otto, 76, of Carver, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2018. Beloved husband of 53 years to Maureen Otto. Loving father to Dan Otto and Vicki of Orlando, FL, and Stacey Kelly of Middleboro. Son of the late Frank and Edna (Guidaboni) Otto. Brother to Dick and Betty Ann Otto of Wareham. Cherished grandfather to Kayley Otto, Devin Otto, Kolton Kelly, Kyler Kelly, and Kaden Kelly, and Amanda Fitzgerald. Great grandfather to Karter Kelly, and Karyson Kelly, as well as Amber, Tayven, and Jameson
Francis also leaves his beloved dog “Sammy”.
Francis worked in the trucking business for many years for Boston & Falmouth, and later Anderson Pierce. He was a hunting and trapper enthusiast. Francis later worked for the Harju Brothers Cranberry Company. Mr. Otto was a member of First Baptist Church in Duxbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 8th from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9th at First Baptist Church, 2 Tremont St (Rt. 3A) Duxbury at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery in Middleboro.
