Joyce A. (Parrish) Bailey, 63, of Anderson died suddenly February 2, 2018, at her residence.
Joyce was born March 24, 1954 in Anderson, the daughter of Preston Clay and Billie Jean (Jones) Parrish.
She was the manager of Pizza King for 9 years; worked at Guide Lamp and a member of Veterans of Madison County.
She was always happy and willing to help anyone. Her nickname was "Sunshine" and would light up any room she walked into. She loved spending time with her son, Chris, and his family Cora and especially little Chris. She was very close to her two sisters Vickie and Margie and niece, Victoria. She loved spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her son, Christopher (fiancée Cora Hileman) Keller; her mother, Billie Jean Joslin, with whom she lived and cared for; two grandchildren, Hailey Keller and Christopher Keller, Jr.; five siblings, Joe (Susan) Parrish; Rex (Barb) Parrish, Marjorie (Mike) Marsh, Vickie (Glenn) Harmon, John (Angie) Parrish; nieces and nephews, Joe Jr, Amy, Leah, Derek, Daniel, Adam, Lauren, Michael, Duncan, Victoria, Shailey and Skyler and best friend, Denise Myers.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, her step-father, J.E. "Arkie" Joslin; her husband, Steve Bailey, Smokee, her beloved dog.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Veterans Club.
