Rachel A. Accorsi 82, of Franklin, died Monday February 5, 2018 at the Blaire House of Milford, following an illness.
Born February 17, 1935 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Roberto and Premiera (Viola) Accorsi, she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Rachel was educated at the Perkins School for the Blind and assisted in the operation of the family owned Akin-Bak Farm on West Central Street in Franklin.
She enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with her family.
Rachel is survived by 2 sisters, Elizabeth Accorsi, and Eleanor M. Costello both of Franklin and her nieces & nephews.
Rachel was the sister of the late Anna L. Accorsi, Armando & Robert Accorsi, Emma Accorsi, Santina Crawford, Melina Taggart and Deglia Galipeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday Feb. 9th at 11AM in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Perkins School For The Blind 175 North Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472.
