In Taunton, Doreen R. (Dupont) DeSousa, Age 59, passed away at home following a lengthy illness while surrounded by her loving family. Doreen leaves her loving husband Joseph M. DeSousa of Taunton. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of Mary (Williams) and the late Luis DuPont Sr. Doreen was a lifetime resident of Taunton. She was a 1977 graduate of Taunton High School. Doreen was employed at Texas Instruments in Attleboro. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts and above all cherished her time with family. In addition to her husband Joseph, Doreen leaves her beloved children Aaron and Jillian DeSousa of Taunton, her siblings Diane Dupont and her wife Jane of Garland, TX, Luis Dupont Jr. and his wife Lynne of Dighton and Neil Dupont and his wife Sharon of Mashpee. Doreen also leaves several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton on Friday, February 9th at 11 am. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
