Windham- Scott Alan Merrill, age 40, passed away on February 3, 2018 at the Gosnell Hospice house in Scarborough after a courageous year an half battle of cancer. He was born in Portland, Maine, son of Michael and Dorothy Merrill (Lecours).
Scott spent many years as a painter and an handyman which he enjoyed doing. He really enjoyed fishing, camping, and being with his loved ones. He was a major Boston Bruins, Boston Red Soxs, and New England Patriots fan.
Scott is survived by his father and mother Michael Merrill Sr., Dorothy Merrill (Lecours), his 3 adored daughters Nicole, Desirae, and Hailee Merrill, His older brother Michael Merrill Jr. his wife Jennifer Merrill, and his nephew Seth Merrill, His younger brother Bruce Merrill, his niece Annabelle Merrill, and Nephew Blake Merrill. Scott also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family was everything to Scott.
Celebration of life will be held at the Vineyard Church on route 302 in Westbrook on Thursday February 8, 2018 at 6pm - 8pm. Everyone is welcome.
