Obituary

Bonnie Lou Black Horn, 59, of Omega passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Chuck Taylor officiating. Mrs. Horn will be laid to rest at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, The family will receive friends Monday, February 5, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Stanley Howell, Lee Adams, Blake Howell, Andrew Adams, J. Guadalupe Herrera, Chris Turner, Terry Bruner and D. J. Parkerson will serve as pallbearers.

Born October 1, 1958 in Moultrie, Mrs. Horn was the daughter of the late Newton Fredrick Howell, Sr. and Romalee Howze Howell Nelson. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Minnie Mae Galarza; one brother, Roger Howell, Sr.; and two sisters, Connie Howell and Marie Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved playing Super Nintendo video games.

Mrs. Horn is survived by her husband, G. W. Horn of Mystic; four sons, David Black of Florida, Dannie Nasworthy of Tifton, William Horn of Valdosta and Marshal Black, Jr. of Georgia; four daughters, Brenda Cabanas of Tifton, Lorena Weeks of Fitzgerald and Susan Black and Debbie Black, both of Georgia; two brothers, Willie Howell and Freddie Howell, both of Tifton; two sisters, Geneva Walters of Tifton and Mary Adams of Omega; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
