Obituary

Lori A. Sutera passed away peacefully at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in the company of her loving family. She was 47. Raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Josephine (Cantalupo) Sutera. A graduate of Medford’s Vocational Technical School with the class of 1988, she became a chef and cooked with her family in their restaurant, Sabatino’s North in Derry, NH. She was a great cook who mastered traditional Italian cooking and incorporated recipes passed on from her mom. She was an awesome aunt who loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephew. The longtime soulmate of Joey Sabatino, she also enjoyed a strong and loving bond with the Sabatino family. Lori loved children and loved spending time with her family and friends.

The beloved soul mate of Joseph Sabatino, she was a beloved sister to Debra Marks of Chester, NH, Michele DelSignore and her husband John of Reading, Robin Carney and her husband Philip of Chester, NH. Lori is lovingly survived by members of the Sabatino family. She is the favorite auntie of Joey, Philip, Nicholas, Lauren, Krista, Nicole, Jake, Vanessa, Alex, Samantha, William and loving great auntie to Gianna, Isabella, and Angelo.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, February 6th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home, Monday 4 - 8 PM.
