Anna Elizabeth “Aunt Dizzy” (Mattingly) Hedden, 97,
Aunt Dizzy passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. Born on January 18, 1921 she leaves many happy memories with those who shared in her 97 years of life. Aunt Dizzy retired from Reynolds Metal Company after 30 years. She was very active and devoted to Grace Crossing Church and was always there to help when needed. Aunt Dizzy also worked as a volunteer with Special Olympics over many years. She especially enjoyed vacationing with her family and friends while getting to try new foods. She spent the last eight years living at Brookdale Assisted Living where she made many close friends. Aunt Dizzy never met a stranger and made friends easily wherever she went, she will be dearly missed.
Preceded in death by her adoring husband of 56 years, Joseph F. Hedden.
Her funeral will be 10:00 am Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with burial at Cave Spring Cemetery Breckinridge, KY.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday.
