Allen O. Huntley, 63, of Limington, died 7:12 a.m. February 1, 2017 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough Maine. Allen was born June 21, 1954 in Portland Maine. The son of Harold and Alice (Emery) Huntley, he grew up in Westbrook Maine. He graduated from Windham High School. While in high school he was a member of the Rifle Club and Glee Club.
Over the years, Allen worked for JC Best for 8+ years, Carpetland 15+ years and J&M Inc. from 2004 to 2018, He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, Sudoku, and watching war/ sci-fi movies. He was the financial chair at Kezar Falls Assembly of God and a member of the NRA.
Allen is survived by his wife, Pauline Thompson of Limington Maine; his step children, Eric Gallia and Shaylene (Gallia) Kinkead; his mother, Alice (Emery) Huntley; brother, Stuart Huntley: sisters’, Katherine (Huntley) Darling, Donna Sincyr, and Cinthia Ladd; his Aunts’ and Uncles’ Viola and Jack Scott, Larry and Lorren Emery, and Laura and Doc Daugherty; as well as numerous cousins.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and family, as well as J&M and church family. He was ‘rough around the edges’ but cared about others first before himself. He is loved deeply by so many.
