Obituary

In Brockton, Edith A. Hanley, age 90, passed away in Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Howard Hanley. Edith was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Charles H. & Mabel A. (Busiere) Mansfield. She graduated from Taunton High School in 1945 and worked for N.E. T & T. She also worked at the former Red Coach Grill in Middleboro as hostess and then executive hostess for many years. Edith is survived by her four sons, Charles Murphy and Robert Davis of Seminole, FL, Richard Davis and Scott Davis of Raynham, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister, Norma Pietnik of Taunton, and two nephews, Tad and Edward Pietnik of Taunton. Edith’s funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, February 5th at 11 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 10-11am. Burial will be in Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham. Donations in Edith’s memory may be made to the Raynham Public Library, 760 South Main St., Raynham, MA 02767
