Domingas Dias (103) of Brockton died January 30th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Manuel Dias and Jurie Cardoso. Domingas enjoyed playing (Oro) cards and joking with family and friends. She received recognition from the City of Brockton Adult Day Center as "Young at Heart" at her 103rd birthday.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Marcela Cardoso of Boston, Maria Gomes of Brockton and Maria Livramento of Portugal, many grand and many many great grandchildren.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday February 7th at 8 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday February 6th from 5-9 pm.
