Dartmouth – Leontina Garcia Goulart, age 81 of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Jaime Jorge Goulart and the daughter of the late Alice and Antonio Garcia da Rosa.
Leontina was born in Pico, Azores and had been a loving homemaker to her family.
She is survived by her 5 children, Helena Goulart Pereira and her husband Carlos, Alda Patricio and her husband Joao, Connie Bernardo and her husband Jesse, Joseph Goulart and Norberto Goulart and his wife Matilde; grandchildren: Jason and Jennifer Pereira, Kevin and Melinda Patricio, Samantha and Jonathan Bergeron, Jesse and Jeremy Bernardo, Jaime Goulart, Noa and Zoe Goulart; great-grandchildren: Sabrina, Arianna, Adalynn, Landen, Jesse, Jayden and Jordan; 4 sisters, Diamantina Rosa, Idalina Maciel, Guilhenmenia Caetano and Edwina Rosa; a special nephew, Emanuel Garcia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Friday evening, from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 8:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Mt. Carmel Church at 9:45 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John Cemetery.
