ROBERTS, Ruth Ann (Jones) Kuhl, 76, of Pleasureville, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Ruth Ann taught for over 33 years: one year in Green County, Ohio; two years in Republic, Ohio; two and a half years in Erlanger, Kentucky; and 28 years in Shelby County, Kentucky. She was also the co-director for After School Day Care, a charter member of ADK, and also a part of R&Y Decoration business. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald W. Kuhl; her parents, Anna (Watson) and Jewel Jones; brother-in-law, Brent Henson; and nephew, Scott Jones.
Ruth Ann is survived by her husband, Julian P. Roberts; children, Troy W. Kuhl (Jennifer); Janine Moore (Tim) and Julian Mark Roberts (Lauren); grandchildren, Carson W. Kuhl, Ronald M. Kuhl, Sarah M. Russell (Derek), Madeline G. McCall, Isabella G. McCall, Jillian O’Bryan (Corbin), Austin Roberts (Becca), Justin Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Lindsey Moore, Timmy Moore (Gwen), Jeremy Chilton (Jessica); great grandchildren, Sloane M. Russell , Ally and Talon Moore, Jocelyn Chilton, Ryan Roberts, Lindsey Roberts, and Easton O’Bryan; brother, Phillip Jones (Cathy), and sister, Nancy Henson.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday and after 11am Saturday at Shannon Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Shelbyville, KY. Funeral service 1pm Saturday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Grove Hill Cemetery.
