Ann Smith Brewer, 81, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, January 29, 2018, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Sammy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Brewer was born September 13, 1936, in Pitts, Georgia, to the late J. C. Smith & Hattie J. Mashburn Smith Revell. She lived in the community all of her life and was a homemaker and a seamstress. Mrs. Brewer enjoyed fishing, baking cakes and providing care for children. Mrs. Brewer was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Callie Garbutt Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons: Gerald Brewer & Delaine of Fitzgerald and Larry Brewer & Teresa of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two brothers: Jimmy & Eloise Smith of Fitzgerald and Johnny Lee & Vianne Smith of Fitzgerald. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. F. Brewer, Jr and a brother, Willis Smith.
