Bigail Monteiro (86) of Brockton died January 30th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born in Cabo Verde daughter of the late Diniz Monteiro Barbosa and Joana (Vaz) Barbosa. Bigail was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Parish.
Survivors include 2 sons, Domingos and Manuel Monteiro, 2 daughters, Maria Gomes and Joana Barbosa, a sister Maria Tavares, many grandchildren.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday February 2nd at 10 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 11 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thursday February 1st from 5-9 pm.
