Matthew J. MacLeod (26) of Brockton died January 25th peacefully in his sleep. He was the loving son of George E. and Marylou (Schifino) MacLeod.
He was born in Stoughton and was a graduate of South Eastern Vocational Technical High School Class of 2009 and communicant of Christ the King Church. He worked in the plumbing trade and was a caretaker for his dad. He played eastside little league, East Junior High football, member of the Brockton Karate Club, loved watching the New England Patriots and was a true New England sports fan. Matthew was known for trying to get the last word in and always being there for others.
In addition to his mother and father Matt is survived by his twin brother Mark J. MacLeod of Brockton and Michael MacLeod of Taunton, his sisters, Anglea and husband Joseph Ruo of Mashpee, Jamie MacLeod of Rockland and Ashley MacLeod of Brockton, 4 uncles, Joseph and wife Teri MacLeod of East Bridgewater, James MacLeod Florence of Mass, James Schifino of Tennessee and Paul Schifino of Brockton, a aunt Kathleen Chapron of Taunton, (nephew of the late Cheryl MacLeod, Joanne Byrns and Diane Froio), his favorite cousin Jared Bartelamia, also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Friday February 2nd from 4-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
