Obituary

Eveleen Cooper 99, of Anderson, Indiana peacefully passed away on January 27, 2018 surrounded by her family at Kalkaska Memorial Assisted Living Center in Kalkaska, Michigan.

Eveleen and her twin sister Eileen, were born on August 14, 1918 in Delphi Indiana to Oliver and Ina May Cruea.
She graduated from Kessington High School for Girls in 1937 where she was a member of the Literary Club. She learned piano there and played throughout her life sharing her love of music with her family. She married Ronald Cooper on December 22, 1946 in Anderson Indiana. She retired from Delco Remy where she worked in the Salary and Payroll department.

A devout Christian her entire life, she always had kind words for whomever she met. During her pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 1999, she was baptized in the river Jordan. In 2002 she traveled to Branson, Missouri with her dear friend Norma (Jeanie) McCain where they attended The Great Passion Play. She was a dedicated member of New Horizons United Methodist Church in Anderson, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ina May, husband Ronald, and sister Eileen.

Eveleen is survived by her sons, Larry (Molly) Cooper, David (LuAnne) Cooper, grandsons Aaron Cooper, Jarred Cooper, Daniel Cooper and Dallas Cooper, granddaughters Leah Cooper and Kristi (Kevin) Emmons, great grandchildren Jadia Valles, Drevon Cooper, Laykin Valles, Daython Cooper, Kayson Cooper and Mason Emmons, numerous cousins, niece and
nephews Michael, Patricia and Brian Hub, as well as Olive Reddick, Jeanie McCain, Denny (Cathy) Cooper and special friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Kalkaska Memorial Assisted Living and Hospice of Michigan.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Funeral service will be on Saturday at 10 am with burial to follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
