Charles D. "Charlie" LaRose of Somerville died suddenly on Sunday, January 28. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of Barbara (Arico) and the late Robert C. LaRose Sr. Charlie was employed as a carpenter, and was a proud member of Local 328, formerly Local 218.
Charlie was the loving companion of Bernice DeVita, and the dear brother of Anthony F. LaRose and Robert C. LaRose Jr., all of Somerville, Alan J. LaRose and fiancé Lisa Matheson of Billerica, Joseph C. LaRose and wife Sheila of Litchfield, New Hampshire, and Mark M. LaRose of Somerville. He was the loving uncle of Brandi LaRose, Jennifer Andrade, Amanda Morin, Rael LaRose, Lanae Caruso, J.J. LaRose, Delaney LaRose, and Harleigh LaRose.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, February 2 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Thursday, February 1, from 4 through 8 PM.
