Elaine M. (LoPiccolo) Greenstein, age 73, of Brockton, died January 24, 2018 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Elaine was the wife of the late John W. Greenstein. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louisa (DiCenzo) LoPiccolo. Elaine was raised and educated in Dorchester and for many years was employed as a manager for various local retail stores. She was a woman with a huge heart who loved her family, grandchildren and dogs. She enjoyed watching and feeding her backyard birds and animals, visits to Florida and Montana and traveling. Elaine’s greatest pride was that she was a survivor who beat cancer 8 times.
Elaine was the mother of David and Christopher Greenstein of Brockton, Sharon Scopa of Brockton and Sheila Greenstein of Waltham; sister of Rosemarie Owens of Plymouth, JoAnne Rose of Dorchester, Francine LoPiccolo of Dorchester and Lisa Mooney of Plainville; step sister of Kathy Jones of Texas, Teresa Fernandes of California and Gina Mote of California. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her dog Max.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, February 1, 10-11am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery.
