Lillian M. McCarthy, 100, of Child Street, Warren, formerly of Greenville, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Warren. She was the widow of Thomas C. McCarthy, who died in 1979.
Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Brickley) Mosher. She had recently moved to Warren after living in Greenville for 47 years.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas McCarthy and his wife Deone of Warren, Kenneth McCarthy and his wife, Melanie of Bristol, NH, her grandchildren: Christopher, Rena, Kayla, Katie, Mariah and Benjamin McCarthy, and her great grandchildren: Brian, Dante, Jacoby and Darryl. She was the sister of the late Frank, Marion, Pearl, Virginia, Elsie and Kenneth.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be in Little Greenville Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday afternoon, 12-1pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The Rhode Island Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI 02907
