Danforth L. “Danny” Dimock, age 68, of East Taunton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the beloved husband of the late Janet (O’Brien) Dimock who died in 2010.
Born in Taunton, MA on May 4, 1949, he was a loving son of the late Frederick and Louise (Pero) Dimock.
Danny grew up in Taunton, was a graduate of Taunton High School and attended Franklin Pierce College. He had previously been employed in the Accounting Department at the Nulco Lighting Company in Pawtucket.
Danny loved spending time with his cherished family and was extremely devoted to his late wife Janet. He was truly the family person to turn to for help and support. He enjoyed trips to the Cape Cod Canal and was quite knowledgeable on the subject of history.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Elizabeth Dimock of Taunton. He was the dear brother of Frederick Dimock, II and his wife Jean of Newfield, NH and Alice Newman of Taunton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a celebration of his life at a place and date to be announced.
