GREENWELL, Sue C. (Shacklett), 83, of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018.
She retired as a nurse after 36 years of service. Sue was a dual member of Beargrass Christian Church and St. John Paul II. A lover of music, she not only taught music at church and at home, but she was a former member of the Louisville Philharmonic Choir.
Sue was preceded in death by her son, Mark E. Greenwell.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William W. Greenwell; daughters, Rebecca A. Greenwell, Karen G. Greenwell, and Paula Greenwell Clay (Jeff); and 2 granddaughters, Jessica and Leanne Clay.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Road, with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
