Joan B. Burrell (Kingsbury-Bottum)
Joan was born to Lewis Mahlen Kingsbury and Doris Gallop-Leblanc in 1934 on a potato farm in Bridgewater, Maine. She passed away peacefully at her home in Limerick, surrounded by family on January 24, 2018 at the age of 83. She is predeceased by her brother, Wayne Kingsbury of Ohio, and her sister Linda Wallace of Sanford, Me. She was the matriarch of her family and is survived by her 4 daughter's, Robin Burrell of Ohio, Karen Bradbury of Mass., Lori Beatty of Maine and Debbie Dunbar of Maine and her 2 sons Michael Bottum of Florida and Christopher Burrell of N.Carolina. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, all but 2 she was fortunate to have met. Joan loved to paint and spent a lot of time at the beach. Her paintings have been featured in local art shows, some have been featured in a Maine gallery, and some even won awards. She was a woman of independence and vigor. She loved the ocean and the ocean loved her. Joan is loved and will be missed dearly
