John P. Pantazelos, Jr. of Medford died on Thursday, January 25, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. A lifelong Medford resident, he was the son of John P. and the late Frances (Haas) Pantazelos.
John was the beloved husband of Florence "Lori" (Belbin) Pantazelos, and step-father of Marie, Lori, John and Ann. He was the brother of Christine Barone and her husband Tony of Medford, Kathryn Pantazelos of Woburn, and the late James Cutten, and brother-in-law of Whit Balbin of Stratford, New Hampshire, Joe Balbin of Malden, Bill Balbin of Lynn, and Bev Balbin of New Hampshire. John is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted in Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford on Tuesday, January 30 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may gather inside the central gate of the cemetery. Public visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
