Kim Ray, 48, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Crossview Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Jeff Parmer and the Rev. David Fisher officiating. Brenda Paul will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 2 PM until 3 PM, at the church.
Ms. Ray was born October 26, 1969, in St. Augustine, Florida, to the late William Earl Ray and Patricia Ray of Fitzgerald. She had lived in the community for over 40 years. Ms. Ray loved to fish, hunt and spend time with her family, including her nieces and nephews. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Ray of Fitzgerald; three sisters: Pam Gordan of Fitzgerald, Donna Hasty & LaRue of Fitzgerald and Vickie Lindsey & David of Enigma; two brothers: Chris Ray, Sr. & Regena of Fitzgerald and Tony Allen Ray of Fitzgerald. Several nieces and nephews survive: Johnnie Graham, Michael Graham, Justin Hasty, Chris Ray, Jr., Chuckie White, C. J. Studstill, Justin Studstill, Sammy Brown, Luke Bryant, Kayla Lott, Kennedy Brady, Candice Hasty, Carrie White and a special great-nephew, Landon Hasty. Many other great-nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Graham.
