Eugenie Cajuste Joseph, age 89 passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018 at her home as her children embraced her.
She was born in Haiti and attended school in Port-au-Prince in her youth. She immigrated to the United States in 1970. She worked very hard in this country so that she could bring over her children and grandchildren, which she successfully did.
Eugenie was an incredibly giving person, a wonderful mother, as well as an awesome grandmother and great grandmother. Throughout her life, she would continuously help people in need and forgive those who would hurt her in different ways. When that would happen she would always say “leave it to God”. We will always remember her as a giving, wonderful, Christian mother who loved and trusted God over and above anything.
Eugenie was the beloved mother of five children; Roland Cajuste, Marie Jules, Carole Jules, Betty Cajuste and the late Renaud Jules; seven grandchildren, James Cajuste, Rodolph Charles, Roland Cajuste, Louis Bernard Cajuste, Richard Nere, Ronald Nere, and Rachel Nere; and six great grandchildren, Joshua Cajuste, Roberto Charles, Vanessa Charles, Christopher Cajuste, Exavier Cajuste, and Christian Cajuste.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St (Rte 123), Brockton on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 10-11:30am with a funeral service to follow.
