Philomena R. “Phyllis” (Correale) Curtis
Goffstown– After 7 long years, Philly will be reunited with the love of her life, Donny.
Philomena R. “Phyllis” (Correale) Curtis, 87, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2018 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a period of declining health.
She was born in East Boston, MA., on October 6, 1930 the daughter of Dominick and Mary (Orlando) Correale.
In her life she was a sales representative for Sarah Coventry, a Bookkeeper for Bank East and lastly a Switch Board Operator for Citizens Bank for 20 years until her retirement in 2008.
She was a past president of the Young Wives Organization.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Donald A. Curtis in 2011, and a grandson, Adam D. Curtis in 2002.
Family members include two sons, Daniel C. Curtis and his wife, Jacqueline, of Goffstown, David Curtis of Hooksett, one daughter, Theresa Curtis of Manchester, her grandchildren, Curtis “CJ”, Jonathan, Tyler, Anthony, Jillian, Jessica, Joey, several great grandchildren, one brother, Anthony “Tony” Correale of Peabody, MA., three sisters, Marie Goldspring, of East Boston, MA., Mrs. Salvatore (Carmella) Calvino of Peabody, MA., and Dorothy Gobeil of West Peabody, MA.
She was also predeceased by two brothers, Ralph Correale and Dominick Correale Jr.
Phyllis will be forever loved and never forgotten and her angels will remain with us for eternity.
Her family and angels were the center of her life.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM following calling hours in Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley and Youville St.
Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
