In Taunton, Anna May (Elmes) Vintro, Age 94, passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness. Anna May was the loving wife of Arthur Vintro of Taunton for 64 years. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of Thomas & Catherine (Meade) Elmes. Anna May resided all her life in Taunton. She was employed until her retirement at New Jersey Rubber Company in Taunton. Anna May enjoyed traveling, dining out, shopping for clothing, going to their house in East Falmouth, was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her family. In addition to her husband Arthur, she leaves her sister Margaret Bartel of Taunton and her late siblings William, Thomas and James Elmes, and Irene Silvia. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, January 29th from 10:30 am.-12 pm. Burial will follow at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 1:30 pm.
