Our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother Isabel P. Luna went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2018. She had a wonderful long and happy life. Isabel was born on November 5, 1931 in Westminster, CA to Alberto and Aurora Palomino. She went on to marry and settled in Oxnard. Ca and resided here for most of her life except approximately 25 years that she in lived in Greeley, Colorado.
She worked various jobs mostly enjoy taking care of the senior residents at Good Samaritan Society-Bonell Community until retiring and leaving many friends behind to return to Oxnard to live out her life around her family and friends in Ventura County. She was a loving wife and mother to six sons and six daughters who gave her many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren & even great-great grandchildren. She was always saying that her kiddos brought her the most joy and shared to others, that her children were
her greatest accomplishment. She enjoyed holidays and festive gatherings cooking her famous recipes.
We would gather at Mamas every Sunday just to eat her famous huevos rancheros that only she could create so we could enjoy making memories with her, as she knew how to make an ordinary day feel like a holiday. She was a devote Christian and was a dedicated member at United Pentecostal Church in Oxnard, CA and Faith Tabernacle in Greeley, Co where she also sprang into action cooking and serving for any and all functions at any time, any where she was needed. She loved the Lord with all her heart & soul. She enjoyed gardening with her husband Andy. She loved crocheting and home interior but mostly dancing to her favorite Mexican music every chance she got to holler her mariachi “ah-wah- hoos”.
