Opal Lillian (Coomer) White, 83, of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord January 23, 2018 at Clear Vista Lake.
She was born June 4, 1934 in Columbia, Kentucky the daughter of Guy and Mattie (Loy) Coomer.
She worked production at Delco Remy for several years before retiring in 1990.
She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, Ladies Elks, Widows Elks and she enjoyed traveling and line dancing.
She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Julie) White and Perry (Lisa) White and a daughter, Tammy (Joe) Thopy; five grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel) White, Jessica (Brandon) Smith, Amanda Thopy (Adam Brashares), Emily Thopy, Rachel (Clint) Grey; step granddaughter, Breann (Dylan) Brown and step-grandson, Blake Zirkle; great grandchildren, Karoline and Peyton Smith; step-great-grandchildren, Adam and Alex Brown, Emily and Jaylin Smith; sister, Sue Clark; brother, Paul Coomer and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack White.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at East Maplewood Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Entombment will follow.
Visitation will be Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
