Joan M. (McDowell) Massie, 79, passed away January 21, 2018.
She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen M. Massie; her son, Stephen “Butch” Massie; a brother, Kenny McDowell.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Lightle (Randy), Amy Nauert (Jim), Lori Novak (Dale) and Erin Ford (Mike); grandchildren, Brad (Kasey), Josh (Aleisa), Jimmy, Peyton, AnnaRose, Maddie and Alyson; great grandchildren, Cooper, Claire, Ava, Mason and Asher; brother, David McDowell; sisters, Jean Malone, Marilyn Minnick, Elaine Rawert, Patsy Dowell, LaVerne Pezzullo and Michele Jordan.
Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 A.M. at St. Lawrence Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive; with burial in Calvary Cemetery
Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway on Thursday, 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
