Jose R. Pacheco, age 89, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2018. He was the husband of the late Georgina (Farias) Pacheco and a burlapper for RI Nurseries. He enjoyed watching wrestling, relaxing and time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his children; Jose Pacheco (wife Vinnie), Mario Pacheco (wife Zelia), Luis Pacheco (wife Lucia), Olivia Amaral, Elidio Pacheco (wife Luciana), Dionisio and Elaine Pacheco (companion Rob Machado), and Edward Pacheco (wife Pamela), sister; Olivia Raposa, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father in law of the late Carlos Amaral, and brother of the late Manuel Pacheco, Jacinta Ferreira, and Maria Galhofa.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph’s Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 4-8 P.M.
