Francis "Sonny" Lomonaco of Malden died on Wednesday, January 24, at Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Raised and educated in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Anthony and Phyllis (Sansone) Lomonaco. Sonny was a music teacher specializing in piano, organ and accordion.
Sonny was the beloved fiancé of Marie "Grace" Guenard of Malden, and the devoted father of James Lomonaco and his wife Christine of Milton Mills, New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late William Lomonaco and his wife Madeline, and is survived by many loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, January 29 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
