Jean H. Giovannucci, age 87, passed away peacefully in her family’s company Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Born in Boston, she was educated in Boston Schools and was a longtime resident of Mattapan. More recently Jean had resided in Marina Bay Skilled Nursing and Rehab due to her illness. She was retired from her position as a Secretary for The Legal Aide Society of Boston. Jean was the dear sister of the late Alice L. Adams and Phyllis M. Giovannucci and loving aunt of Jane E. Burke & her husband James of Milton, Richard B. Adams & his wife Elaine of Norwell and Carole M. Adams of Brookfield, NH. She is also survived by 7 caring grandnieces & nephews and 8 great grandnieces & nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Friday at 12 Noon. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater New England Chapter, 101A First Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.
