James Roger Lundstrom, 84, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2018.
He was born on April 22, 1933 in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Marjorie Olin Downes. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Boeing and Ralph Reed Construction. He was a member of Parkview Nazarene Church. He enjoyed music and played multiple musical instruments. He loved gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Ratliff) Lundstrom, whom he married December 27, 1963, five children; Calvin Lundstrom, Angie (Ed) Alley, Ellen (Greg) Schmekel, Chad (Kerry) Lundstrom, and Emmalee Abel; grandchildren; Kiely (Travis) Bayha, Macey, Max, Sidney and Vivian; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Elizabeth, Allan, Kayla, Abram, Devin and Cameron; great grandchildren; Carter, Wesley, and Olivia; siblings; Dale (Mary) Downes, Juanita (Mark) Arnett, Elwyn (Sally) Downes; a special aunt, Polly, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and several aunts and uncles.
Services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Jeff Floyd. Visitation will be from 3 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Madison County Veterans Association or Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
