Carol A. (Lloyd) Leuchte, age 70, of N. Weymouth, died January 21, 2018 at South Shore Hospital following a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of Peter A. Leuchte. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Eleanor (Norton) Lloyd. Carol was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School and Brockton Beauty Academy. For many years she was a hairdresser at the Russell Edwards Hair Salon in Randolph and retired in 2005 from JL Hammet Company in Braintree. Carol, always generous and caring, loved crafts, baking cookies and spending time with her family and granddaughter.
Carol was the mother of Mark and his fiancé Jenny Lawrence of N. Carolina, Matthew and his partner Advichil Anzures-Gomez of S. Weymouth and Ryan and his wife Erin of Walpole; grandmother of Samantha and sister of Patrick and Brian Lloyd, Janice Puopolo and the late Mike Lloyd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her good friend, Paula Barone.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 5-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Friday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
