Concetta (Merenda) Ferrone of Wilmington died on Monday, January 22. Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Beaulieu) Merenda. Concetta was the beloved wife of Guy Ferrone, and the devoted mother of Guy Ferrone Jr. and his wife Lynne of Tewksbury, Jeffrey Ferrone and his wife Pamela of Abington, Cheryl Bell and her husband John Bell IV of Groton. She was the loving grandmother of Logan, Lucas, Ava, and Morgan, and sister of Joseph Merenda and his wife Irene of Rockland, Barbara Lanza and her late husband Pasquale of Everett. Concetta is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, January 26 at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Our Lady Of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours Thursday, January 25, from 4 through 8 PM.
