Nancy Black McClellan, age 80, died January 21, 2018, in Water Valley, MS. She was born April 9, 1937, in Coffeeville, MS, to the late Noel Black and Beulah Dees Black. Nancy retired from Kellwood Manufacturing Company after many years as a supervisor. During her years at Kellwood, Nancy forged many life long friendships. Nancy loved animals and treasured the time she got to spend with her family. She was a member of Coffeeville United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow at Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 PM and interment will be in the Coffeeville Cemetery. Pallbearers include Noel Hughes, Shawn Hughes, Geoffrey Hughes, Wayne Stark, Michael Defer, and Skyler Defer.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McClellan.
Nancy is survived by her daughter and her son-in-law, Stephanie and Bubba Defer of Water Valley, MS; her grandson, Skyler Defer of Water Valley, MS; and one sister, Cheryl Allen and her family of Coffeeville, MS.
